Ford Sollers to cut production

Planning to begin production of the EcoSport SUV-B later on this year.

Ford's joint venture (JV) with Russian vehicle assembler Sollers will cut production once more at its St Petersburg plant, according to a Reuters report, which cited a company statement. The plant will suspend production for a total of 20 days during August and September, and starting on 30 September, it will move to two shifts from three per day due to a dramatic decline in demand for its core Focus model and the Mondeo.
