Due to fuel hose defects

Suzuki's Chinese joint venture (JV), Changan Suzuki Automobile, is set to recall 365,506 vehicles in China due to fuel hose defects, Reuters reported on Friday (16 August), citing China's quality watchdog, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine (AQSIQ). The affected vehicles – 108,603 Swifts, 110,555 Antelopes, and 146,348 Tianyu-model vehicles – produced between November 2009 and February 2012, have a possible leakage in their oil filler pipes, said AQSIQ on its website. Changan Suzuki confirmed the development when contacted by telephone and said it would replace the defective fuel hoses of all the affected vehicles free of cost.
