Fiat to build Maserati SUV in Italy by next year
Part of an overall strategy to use upscale Maserati and Alfa Romeo models to fill underutilised plants.
Fiat, under some pressure by the Italian unions, appears to be moving forward with building upcoming Maserati Levante sport utility vehicle (SUV) at its Mirafiori plant in 2015, according Wall Street Journal and other reports sourcing the union; as of this writing, Fiat has not commented formally.
