Nissan to produce Infiniti in China in 2014

Likely to produce the QX50 sport utility vehicle (SUV) and the Q50 sedan.

Nissan will begin production of its Infiniti model in China in 2014, the automaker has said in a statement sent to IHS Automotive commemorating the automaker's 40th anniversary in China. Nissan has not officially declared where, or indeed which models will be produced in China, but it did reiterate that its China growth plan "is based on the growth of two global brands, Nissan and Infiniti", and Venucia, the local brand launched in 2010 by Dongfeng Nissan.
