Expands battery research capabilities at US technical center

GM is working on an electric car that can run 200 miles (320km) per charge and will cost about USD30,000, reports The Wall Street Journal citing a top company executive. However, the Vice-President of Global Product Development at GM, Doug Parks, has not committed to when or if the global automaker will build such a car.
