Denso looking to tap into Sharp's expertise in air conditioners and air purifiers to enhance the performance of its car air conditioners.

oyota-affiliated auto parts supplier Denso said today (18 September) that it had signed a stock subscription agreement with struggling electronics manufacturer Sharp to purchase the latter's stock worth JPY2.5 billion (USD25.4 million). Denso also announced that the two companies would form a strategic alliance to create new technologies by integrating vehicle technologies with home electronics technologies.
