AvtoVAZ to start production of Renault engines
The tie-up between AvtoVAZ and Renault-Nissan will further accelerate next month with Renault engine production ramping up at AvtoVAZ's Togliatti plant.
The alliance between Renault-Nissan and Russia's largest carmaker AvtoVAZ will take another step forward next month when the latter begins production of Renault's K4 series of four-cylinder gasoline (petrol) powertrains at a new engine production facility at its giant Togliatti factory. The start of Renault engine production at the facility was confirmed by AvtoVAZ and Renault representatives in a new report by RBC Daily.
