Collaboration would seem to stem from the joint vehicle development projects the two automakers are undertaking as part of their alliance

General Motors (GM) and PSA Peugeot-Citroën are said to be considering sharing production bases to build some vehicles, reports Reuters citing an article in Les Echos. The French newspaper has reported that the next-generation Opel Zafira will be built at a PSA site in France, and added that the replacement for the Citroën C3 Picasso would be built at GM's Zaragoza site in Spain.
