Toyota to export Corolla from US
Strategy will continue Toyota's efforts at leveling production supply and increasing the export role of its US plants.
Toyota announced on Friday that Corolla production Tupelo, Mississippi will supply the United States, but also 18 countries in Latin American and the Carribean during the first year of sales. The addition of US production will not replace sourcing to those markets from Japan, Brazil and Venezuela, the company said.
