Official announcement expected in the next four or five weeks.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is preparing its Halewood (United Kingdom) site to build the next-generation Freelander, reports the Liverpool Post. Sources have told the newspaper that work is currently under way to bring the vehicle to the site. However, they added that the vehicle is currently codenamed L550 and "is due by the end of next year".
