Chinese state-owned automakers add investments, expand NEV production
Following the recent release of new central government policies more automakers are expected invest in NEV plants in China
Six Chinese automakers plan to invest in expanding their production capacity for New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) brining total combined capacity to just fewer than 1 million units. The local automakers include Beijing Auto (BAIC), Changan, Dongfeng, FAW, GAC, and SAIC. The total combined annual production is 940,000 NEV units, news18a.com reports.
