Bridgestone disclose plans to increase tire production capacity at Indian plant
Plan to more than double the capacity of the plant.
Bridgestone has unveiled plans to ramp up production at its facility Pune, Maharashtra, India, by the end of 2015, with an investment of INR26bn ($421.2m). Bridgestone India operations managing director Tomio Fukuzumi was quoted by Reuters as saying that the investment is part of the company's efforts to more than double the capacity of the plant.
