Toyota to lift production in Turkey during 2014
IHS Automotive anticipates that production will rise even beyond that anticipated by the company at almost 165,000 units, by two-thirds.
Toyota is anticipating increasing production at its operations in Turkey during 2014, reports Reuters. In an interview with the news service, the head of the Japanese automaker's local unit Orhan Ozer said that the company could reach 150,000 units per annum (upa) on a double shift pattern on the back of strong demand for the Corolla.
