Bosch's automotive division's target of 8% operating margin being squeezed by Europe
Intend to reach 8% in the vehicle technology division, which generates about 60% of the group's revenue, in the next two years.
Bosch is still targeting an 8% operating margin for its automotive division within two years, although the target is being made harder to achieve by the continuing deterioration of the European passenger car market. According to an interview with the head of the automotive division Wolf-Henning Scheider, Bosch is not expecting any recovery in the European market until the end of the decade.
