But GM says scheduling could change depending on demand.

General Motors will extend operations at the Oshawa, Ottawa, production line that builds Equinox and Impala through 2016. The plant holds two lines, one flexible line that builds 2014 Chevrolet Impala, Camaro, Buick Regal, and Cadillac XTS; the second line that builds Equinox and current Impala (now Impala Limited). The line has been slated for closure several times, although one condition of the Canadian government's assistance of GM during the bailouts and bankruptcy was to maintain a share of production at the facility. In June 2012, GM said that the line would close in June 2013, but then was extended to June 2014. This latest announcement extends it until 2016 ‒ although GM also said scheduling could change depending on demand.
