Honda to begin mass production of Mobilio in Indonesia during 2014

Expanding its Kawarang facility to increase the plant's annual production capacity to 80,000 units from 60,000.

Honda plans to begin mass production of its Brio Mobilio multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) at its Karawang plant in West Java (Indonesia) next year, reports the Jakarta Post. Production will commence in January and the vehicle will be available for commercial sale the following month. Honda unveiled the Mobilio at the 21st Indonesia International Motor Show in Jakarta last month and the company has received 4,500 bookings for the MPV to date.
