Bosch to axe 400 jobs at starter motor plant in Hildesheim, Germany

Capacity will be moved to Bosch's plant in Miskolc (Hungary).

Bosch is reportedly planning to axe 400 jobs from its production facility in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony (Germany), according to a company spokesman who confirmed a press report in the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper. The job cuts will take place by 2018, according to the report, and will affect the plant's starter motor production. The plant currently has 3,500 employees, 1,350 of which are working in starter motor manufacturing.
