Michelin, Axens and IFPEN announce research project to develop bio-butadiene

Project supported by USD68m budget over eight years

Michelin, Axens and IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN) have joined hands to launch a research project to develop a process, called BioButterfly, for producing bio-sourced butadiene, or bio-butadiene, according to a press release by Michelin.
