Volkswagen (VW) China to recall 207,000 Tiguan SUVs
Defective fuses for exterior lights
Volkswagen (VW) is to recall more than 207,000 Tiguan sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in China over defective fuses for exterior lights, reports the Wall Street Journal. The recall includes 18,008 imported vehicles in addition to the 189,770 locally produced units, said a statement from China's quality watchdog, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). Affected units were produced or imported between May 2009 and November 2011. The recall will start on 25 November and will involve free replacement of improved lighting fuses.
