The Turkish government has announced that Japanese truck-maker Isuzu, together with Turkish joint-venture (JV) partner Anadolu Group, plans to manufacture its D-Max pick-up in the country. Production is expected to begin in March 2014 at the JV's Cayirova plant in the northwestern province of Kocaeli. The plant will initially manufacture 3,000 units per year, and output will be increased gradually depending on demand. Isuzu's JV currently produces a range of trucks and buses at its Turkish plant.
