BMW-Toyota alliance has made good progress on battery technology, says BMW marketing boss
Making some big steps, especially in battery performance and efficiency.
BMW and Toyota have made great progress on what is the arguably the key area of the research and development (R&D) alliance between the two firms, electric vehicle (EV) battery technology, according to BMW board member for sales and marketing Ian Robertson. In an interview with specialist publication Autocar, Robertson said the two companies' technicians were working together well and had already made some "big steps" in battery technology.
