IHS forecasts that the US plant will build 180,000–190,000 units annually, while China will build 65,000–80,000 units annually

Toyota's Princeton, Indiana, plant began assembly of the 2014 Highlander on 6 December after a USD430-million investment that has created 600 new jobs. The vehicle is being exported from the US to Russia and Australia for the first time, and the hybrid version is also being added to the plant's output in early 2014. Princeton also builds the Sequoia and Sienna.
