Recall initiated by Michelin "because an increasing number of tires are experiencing tread loss and/or rapid air loss.

Michelin North America is recalling 1.3 million tires produced at its Nova Scotia (Canada) plant from January 2010 to June 2012. The specific tire affected is typically used for commercial light trucks, full-size, heavy-duty vans, small recreational vehicles, and large pick-up trucks, with some installed as original equipment to Ford E-series vans, and some sold through the replacement market.
