AvtoVAZ to cut 7,500 jobs in attempt to modernise operations
AvtoVAZ's new CEO knows that harsh medicine is required to right-size company although the task of making Russia's largest carmaker competitive by global standards is enormous
New AvtoVAZ CEO Bo Andersson has not taken long to make his mark on the company with an announcement that it is planning to shed 7,500 jobs, or 11% of the firm's total workforce, according to a company statement cited by Automotive News Europe (ANE).
