Schaeffler demo vehicle hits 2020 CAFE targets without electrification
Electrification will provide automakers with solutions to meet 2025 CAFE standard
At the Detroit auto show earlier this month, Schaeffler showcased a range of products and technologies that help its demonstration vehicle, Efficient Future Mobility North America, meet Corporate Average Fuel Economy standards for 2020 with no additional electrification of the powertrain, reports Green Car Congress.
