Japanese auto parts supplier Aisan Industry "pleads guilty" to price-fixing in US

Aisan's involvement in the price-fixing cartel lasted "from at least as early as October 2003 until at least February 2010," said the DOJ.

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Monday (3 February) that Japanese auto parts maker Aisan Industry had agreed to plead guilty and pay USD6.86 million in fines for conspiring to fix prices of electronic throttle bodies it sold to Nissan and its subsidiaries in the United States and elsewhere, reports Jiji Press.
