Michelin's profits fall during 2013 on strong euro

Overall, net income this year tumbled by 28.3% y/y to EUR1.127 billion.

Michelin has announced that both its profits and sales fell in 2013. The tire-maker said that for the year ending 31 December 2013, its sales revenues slid by 5.7% year-on-year, to EUR20.247 billion (USD27.601 billion). The company's revenues took a EUR716-million hit from the strength of the euro.
