Also planning to add Edge production at the Changan-Ford-Mazda plant in Hangzhou in China

Ford has announced that the next-generation Edge will be built at Oakville Assembly Plant, in Ontario (Canada), following a CAD700-million investment announced in September 2013. The production version has not yet been shown, though the concept is making the rounds at auto shows, currently on display at the Canadian Auto Show in Toronto. Oakville assembles the Edge, Ford Flex, and Lincoln MKX and MKT.
