Ford to shift commercial truck output
Moving commercial vehicle production in-house will enable Ford to streamline and strengthen the engineering and manufacturing of the next generation medium-duty trucks.
Ford is expected to announce plans this week to shift production of medium-duty trucks from Mexico to the United States, according to local newspaper The Detroit News. Production of the F-650 and F-750 will move to the Avon Lake, Ohio, plant, which currently builds the E-Series van.
