Daihatsu aims for 30% cut in production costs in three years
Aims to increase the use of components imported from China and South Korea.
Daihatsu aims to bring down its production costs by 30% over the next three years, reports the Nikkei business daily. Without citing a source, the report says that the automaker plans to achieve the target with a raft of measures including increased decentralisation in purchasing matters and increased use of imported components.
