Hyundai considering new electronic equipment standards for cars in 2015
Implementation of the new standards should take at least two or three years on average.
Hyundai is reportedly planning to introduce new standards for electronic equipment for its models starting from 2015, reports the Korea Electronic Times. An unnamed Hyundai official close to the matter said, "We cannot disclose the details. But, it is correct that ISO 26262 will be applied to new cars that are to be developed [from] next year."
