USD100 million expected to be spent over next eight years

Currently, about 3,000 wirelessly connected cars, buses, trucks, motorcycles, and bikes are operating in Ann Arbor, Michigan (US) as part a University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute project, and the university wants to expand this number to 9,000 within the next two years, according to an Ann Arbor News report.
