Alcoa to curtail capacity at two Brazilian aluminium smelting facilities

To reduce 147,000 metric ton capacity by end of May this year

US-based aluminium products supplier Alcoa plans to curtail a total of 147,000 metric ton of capacity at two of its aluminium smelting facilities—São Luís and Poços de Caldas—in Brazil, says a company press release.
