Tata Motors to begin local assembly of trucks in Thailand this year
Expects initial annual production of 2,400 units.
Tata Motors has announced that it plans to begin local assembly of trucks in Thailand starting this year. Sanjay Mishra, the CEO of the automaker's Thailand operations, revealed that Tata is planning to import vehicle kits from its plants in India and South Korea and will assemble some of the popular models in its truck line-up, such as the Super Ace commercial mini-truck locally, starting from June.
