Support use of cameras, instead, saying they could be just as safe, while providing gains in aerodynamics
Tesla and the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers have jointly filed a petition with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) seeking permission to eliminate side-view mirrors from new cars.
