Torotrak-led consortium wins USD4 million grant from UK's TSB
Move to establish efficient manufacturing processes
Torotrak-led consortium has secured GBP2.4 million (USD4 million) from the UK government’s Technology Strategy Board (TSB) to establish new manufacturing processes for the traction drive disks and rollers at Torotrak’s potfolio of CO2 and fuel efficient technologies, which includes variable drive superchargers, infinitely variable toroidal transmissions, and a flywheel kinetic energy recovery system (KERS), says a press release.
