Mitsubishi agrees to buy Ford's Philippine plant for USD145 mil.
New plant is slated to begin vehicle production by January 2015.
Mitsubishi has confirmed that it has purchased Ford's Philippine plant, in a bid to boost vehicle production capacity. The new plant located at the Sta. Rosa Laguna will produce 40,000 units per annum (upa) when it becomes fully operational.
