Toyota, Yazaki develop vehicle wiring harnesses recycling system
Automaker estimates 1,000 tonne of copper can be produced annually using the technology
Toyota is working with Yazaki and other partners to develop a technology to retrieve and recycle copper from vehicle wiring harnesses, according to a press release.
