BMW is expanding the recall over an engine bolt that began in China and expanded to the United States. No accidents or injuries have been reported as a result of the issue. According to an Automotive News report, the 489,000 recall includes 156,000 units in North America and 232,098 in China. Affected cars may see the engine check light come on, in which case drivers should then drive the vehicle to the nearest dealer.
