Lamborghini SUV will be built in Slovakia
VW has already begun plant upgrades at the Bratislava plant to accommodate production the Group's next generation of SUVs.
The new Lamborghini SUV which is due to be launched by the Volkswagen (VW) Group owned Italian sportscar brand in 2018 is slated to be manufactured at its parent company's plant in Slovakia, according to an Automotive News Europe (ANE) report. The new model will be based on the same modified version of the MLB platform architecture that will underpin the next generation Porsche Cayenne which is also due to be launched in 2017, according to the report.
