IHS Automotive forecasts the facility will begin manufacturing the 500+, the replacement for the Grande Punto, towards the end of next year
Poland's minister for the economy Janusz Piechocinski has said that Fiat will soon announce new models to be allocated for production at the company's plant in the country. According to a report by the Warsaw Business Journal, Piechocinski said that he had productive discussions with senior management about the prospect of new models being added to the Fiat Auto Poland (FAP) plant. He said, "I have met Fiat representatives. They will announce good news at the beginning of May, not only for employees at Tychy, but also for the whole sector." Fiat itself has refused to comment officially on the reports.
