Guangzhou (GAC), BYD form JV to build NEVs
JV will be based in Conghua city’s Mingzhu industrial zone in the southern Guangdong province.
Chinese state owned Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC) and automaker BYD Auto have signed an agreement to form a new joint venture (JV) for the production of electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid passenger vehicles, and commercial buses as well as key components, state media Xinhua reports. The new JV will be based in Conghua city’s Mingzhu industrial zone in the southern Guangdong province. The JV targets both products for the local Chinese market as well as for markets outside of China
