Toyota India union members to resume work today

Workers will continue to contest with the management on annual wage increase and the suspension of 30 workers

Union workers at Toyota Kirolskar Motor (TKM) have decided to resume work today (22 April) at the automaker’s twin vehicle-manufacturing plants in Bidadi, near Bengaluru (Bangalore), India. The general secretary of Toyota Kirloskar Motor Employees Union (TKMEU), R Satish, said that nearly 4,500 union members will report to work now that they are not required to sign an undertaking of good conduct, reports Reuters.
