AvtoVAZ resumes Kalina and Granta production
Need to accelerate preparations for the new Datsun model that will be made at the plant a major factor.
AvtoVAZ has restarted production of its best-selling Granta and Kalina models at its plant in Togliatti following a recent stoppage to prepare the line for new Datsun cars that will be built at the factory, according to a Skrin newswire report. The stoppage commenced on 17 April and was supposed to include the last two weeks of April.
