Isuzu launches D-Max variants in India, holds talks with local suppliers to source engines

Isuzu has launched its locally assembled D-Max pick-up truck in India, the automaker says in a statement sent to IHS Automotive. The vehicle is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. A separate report in the Business Standard states that the company is in talks with local suppliers to source engines for its models in India.
