Nexeon commissions new li-ion cell manufacturing facility in UK
The plant has been developed for end-use applications, including hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs), and consumer electronic devices.
Nexeon has completed the construction and commissioning of a process development and manufacturing facility for lithium-ion (Li-ion) cell materials at its headquarters in Oxfordshire (United Kingdom), according to a company press release. The plant has an annual production capacity of more than "20 tonnes of product". Apart from the manufacturing capability, the facility includes integrated laboratories for "process development" and "material characterisation", as well as a "quality assurance" lab.
