Suzuki to recall 31,744 vehicles in Japan over axle glitch
Two models are the Suzuki Jimny and the AZ-Offroad, which is manufactured for Mazda
Suzuki yesterday (15 May) reported to Japan's Transport Ministry that it would recall a total of 31,744 units of two car models in Japan for free repairs because of axle problems, according to Jiji Press. The two models are the Suzuki Jimny and the AZ-Offroad, which has been supplied to Mazda on an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) basis. The vehicles subject to the recall were made between May 2012 and March 2014. Suzuki said it would also recall 45,589 units sold overseas.
