Schaeffler may supply Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) with UniAir variable valve lift technology
Until now, the system has currently only been in use by Fiat under its MultiAir branding.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is in line to use the Schaeffler's UniAir electrohydraulic variable valve lift system, sources have told Automotive News Europe (ANE). Although JLR declined to comment on the story, Schaeffler's head of engine system development, Marin Scheidt, told ANE that the latest automaker to use the system is "in the luxury and sports car segment" and is not a German premium automaker.
