Russian Machines and Norinco sign MoU for vehicle production

Builds on NORINCO and Russian Machines existing partnerships in engineering, mining, and metals

Russian Machines Corporation and China North Industries Corp (NORINCO) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the presence of the Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, and Xi Jinping, Premier of China on 26 May. Under the agreement, the two companies will strengthen alliance in production of cars and trucks. In the truck segment, the two companies will create an Ural truck line using the plant in Miass in the Chelyabinsk region in Russia. The line will use the existing Beiben line of trucks. In the passenger car line, the two companies will plan a new passenger car brand for Russia, the companies said in a press release.
