Thailand to remain production hub for Japanese OEMs – JAMA chief
Country’s light-vehicle production expected to regain momentum in late 2014
Honda chairman Fumihiko Ike, also the newly appointed head of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), said yesterday (27 May) that Thailand's importance as a production hub for Japanese automakers remains unchanged, although other Asian nations like Indonesia and India are increasingly being seen as alternatives, reports Dow Jones.
